Sophie & Eric

They met online, as many of us do these days, searching for someone to catch their imaginations. Sophie had met some interesting people, but none connected, then Sophie found Eric. In true Atlanta fashion, they lived a quarter of a mile from each other, most likely crossing paths hundreds of times. After six months, they were living together and adding a furry friend, Maya, to the mix.

The Engagment Ring

It was time to find an engagement ring! While shopping with big box jewelry stores, Sophie and Eric realized they wanted a personal experience. That’s when they found TLD Fine Jewelry. Eric and Sophie were included in every design step of making a custom engagment ring. They decided on a three-stone engagment ring. The engagment ring is designed with a stunning lab-created oval diamond center stone flanked with two round lab-created diamonds in a custom setting in 14kt yellow gold, which looks perfect on Sophie!

The Proposal

While on vacation in Arizona, on the last day, Eric planned an impromptu hike before the sun came up. The sunrise did not disappoint. It was incredible! During their vacation in Arizona, they listened to a podcast on UFOs in the area. As the sun came up, calm and confident, Eric said, “look over there! Is that a UFO? As Sophie turned back around, Eric proposed. Finally, Sophie found her sunrise!
